Andy Huffmyer, Media/Website Chair
Andy Huffmyer is a multifaceted professional with a diverse background in media advertising, television production, community engagement, and sports management. Currently serving as a Partner at Crozet Sports LLC. and Officer at Crozet Sports Community Foundation Inc., Andy plays a pivotal role in driving initiatives that promote sports development and community enrichment. With a Bachelor of Arts in Media Advertising from Bethany College, Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his endeavors.
An impressive 24-year career as a Professional Television Director, specializing in major market television, TV News, and Special Sports Coverage. Notably, Andy was an original employee involved in building the Charlottesville Newsplex, comprising CBS19, ABC16, and FOX 27. In addition to his media background, Andy is the Owner of Huffmyer Agency Marketing Company, where he leverages his extensive experience to deliver innovative marketing solutions for clients. Andy is deeply rooted in the Crozet, VA community, where he actively contributes as a former member of the Peachtree Board of Directors and as a coach for youth recreation sports. He is known for his dedication to community service, volunteering his time whenever needed to support various initiatives.
Andy’s passion for sports extends beyond his professional career, having played baseball and football during his high school years. This firsthand experience fuels his commitment to providing opportunities for youth participation in sports and fostering a sense of camaraderie within the community.
