Josh possesses a diverse background in law, business, and entrepreneurship. Josh currently serves as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of Lyriks, LLC, while also holding the role of Managing Partner at Keatley Ventures, LLC, Josh's expertise encompasses investment identification, venture capital, corporate strategy, governance, compliance, and data protection.

A Richmond native, Josh earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hampden-Sydney College in 1994 and his law degree from The University of Richmond Law School in 1998. Josh began his legal career at McGuireWoods, LLP with a focus on corporate matters in addition to healthcare and entertainment law. He was recognized as one of Virginia’s “Legal Elite” by Virginia Business as well as a Virginia “Super Lawyer” by Richmond Magazine. Josh also served on the Massey Alliance Young Professional Board. Prior to his starting up Lyriks, Josh was the Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel for a leading regional accounts receivables management firm. In this capacity, he spearheaded key initiatives in business development, compliance, technology, revenue generation, and strategic acquisitions.

Josh has two children. His daughter, Keaton, graduated from Collegiate School in 2022 and currently attends Denison University, where she plays soccer. His son, Hartley, attends Collegiate School (2024) and will continue his baseball career at James Madison University upon graduation.
