Physical Preparation
Conditioning: Begin training at least 6–8 weeks in advance. Focus on speed, agility, arm strength, and endurance.
Skill Drills
Hitting: Work on consistent, clean mechanics and bat speed. Use tee work, soft toss, and live pitching
Fielding: Practice clean glove work, footwork, and throws to bases
Pitching (if applicable): Focus on command, velocity, secondary pitches, and consistent mechanics.
Nutrition & Hydration: Fuel your body with lean protein, complex carbs, and plenty of water.
Rest & Recovery: Don’t overtrain. Sleep 7–9 hours a night and take recovery days.
Mental Preparation
Mindset: Go in with confidence and a calm, focused mindset. Don’t dwell on mistakes—bounce back quickly.
Visualization: Visualize each part of the showcase—nailing the 60-yard dash, fielding cleanly, hitting solid line drives, etc.
Know Your Role: Play to your strengths. Show hustle, coachability, and energy throughout the event.
